The first time I laid eyes on my husband I was attracted not only his tall dark and handsome self but his Style! He was wearing a blazer with dunks.. And I had to have him. Hahaha. So every year on his bday I try to add to his wardrobe. And I can appreciate a man who pushes the limits with his own style and my hubby does just that! So I got him these HOT polkadot Vans and Ben Sherman hat from Nordstrom.
Lately I have really been into colored and patterned jeans. It’s such a great way to add some flare to your outfit. I was soooo tired of just jean colored jeans.. So blah! I found these striped pants on motelrocks.com. I love Motel’s style of clothes. There’s lots of body-con dresses in different patterns (everything from floral to space patterns) with lots of cut-outs and mesh. Check them out! I have some motel dresses so stay tuned. I wore this outfit at night for my hubby’s bday.. Jean jacket is from Levis, Over-sized sheer blouse from Nordstrom BP, studded clutch from F21, and the accessories are from F21 and H&M. Oh! Also wanted to ask if anyone thought my pants looked like bettlejuice? I got that response from some cousins of mine.. Hahaha. Just thought maybe they were being haters and took it as a compliment! Starting a blog has always been a dream of mine. As I am an avid blog reader. But I always wanted my own. A place to express my creative side. I have many roles in life from mommy, wifey, nurse, sister, daughter,…. And I try to not fit into the stereotype of any of them. I like to make a statement! Whether it’s with my clothes, funky hairstyles, accessories, etc.. I like to stand out. I try to resist those old fashioned ideas that say if your a mom you have to wear sweats and no makeup! And if your a nurse you have to wear ill-fitting scrubs with your hair thrown up in a ponytail.
